Examples of anxiety disorders include panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. The symptoms for anxiety disorders are an uncontrolled feeling of worry,  restlessness, and a feeling of being "on-edge", increased irritability, concentration difficulties and sleep difficulties.

Below are some of the ways you can do to overcome anxiety.

Try being positive all the time

Sometimes fear and anxiety make us fail to see the positivity around us. Try by starting your day with a positive affirmation. Focus on the good things that happen in your life. Turn failure into lessons and negative self-talk into positive self-talk.

Take deep breaths when anxious

A deep breath can help you reduce fear and anxiety.  Learning relaxation techniques can help you with the mental, and physical feelings of fear. The goal of deep breathing is to help you cope with panic.

Some of the methods you can use to practice deep breathing is learning Yoga, Meditation or taking a massage.

Exercise helps get your mind off fear and anxiety. You can take a walk or a stroll, aerobics.
The good thing about exercise is that it requires concentration, and it can be a good deterrence from anxiety.

Face your fears

We always find ourselves trying to avoid a situation that scares us. If this is what you do, you won't be able to tell if a situation is not that bad. If you gather the courage to face your fears, the fear will start to fade away and is the best way to overcome anxiety.

Do not try to be perfect

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. It's always important to remember that life is not perfect, and it's always messy.

Faith and Spirituality

If you are a spiritual person, this is an opportunity to connect with your maker. You can attend a church, mosque or a shrine to connect with other faithful. They can form a good support group as you network and share your fears.  Spirituality can help you find meaning, and your purpose in life.

Eat Healthily

Avoid food with too much sugar, and take lots of vegetables and fruits. Try to avoid drinking too much tea and coffee, as caffeine is known to increase anxiety levels.
